An encore was requested at our Vienna concert in January 2023. Here it is.
Orchestras rarely play encores - but at the concert in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein Vienna, which the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and Paavo Järvi gave in January 2023, the audience clapped one out. So after works by Brahms and Berlioz, there was also Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 1 - exactly, that's the one to which Charlie Chaplin performs his ravishing barber number in the film "The Great Dictator".
