At the Annual General Meeting on 28 January 2026, shareholders were not only presented with the annual results for the 2024/25 season. There was also a change in the chairmanship of Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich AG.
Marc Zahn was elected by the shareholders as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich AG. "The Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich stands for excellence, artistic quality and cultural relevance. As Chairman, I will endeavour to safeguard this strength and look forward to actively shaping the development of this important cultural institution in the city of Zurich in a challenging environment." Marc Zahn has many years of management experience in the financial industry, fiduciary services and strategic corporate management. At the Annual General Meeting, he was elected by the shareholders as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich AG for a one-year term. The Board of Directors was also confirmed for one year.
The Board of Directors thanked Hedy Graber for her contribution to the further development of the company. During her one-year term as Chairman of the Board of Directors, the City of Zurich increased its contribution by CHF 1,750,000 per year for the next six years.
The shareholders also approved the annual financial statements for the 2024/25 season, which closed with a loss of CHF 999,577.90. 175 own events and 154 events organised by other cultural providers reached a total of around 219,180 visitors. This corresponds to an increase in visitors of 9 %. A further 41,000 people were reached in the 2024/25 season with 360 events in the participatory formats.
