Série jeunes: Mao Fujita
Série jeunes: Mao Fujita
Alexander Skrjabin Fantasie h-Moll op. 28
24 Préludes op. 11
Programme change: Mao Fujita has decided to focus entirely on two composers for his Zurich debut. He is juxtaposing the preludes of the French-influenced Japanese composer Akio Yashiro with those of Alexander Scriabin.
Everything is happening at the same time for 25-year-old Japanese pianist Mao Fujita. He has launched a major international career, including an exclusive contract with Sony - and is also preparing for his Master's degree at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin as a student of Kirill Gerstein. It is therefore fitting that he is also making a double debut in our programme. He will first appear in the Série jeunes with works by Akio Yashiro and Alexander Scriabin - before joining forces with our orchestra as a soloist in a Mozart concerto in January.
