To kick off the two-day festival at the Münsterhof, it's time to go on stage: Clear the stage for Superar Suisse!

"Superar" means "to master something" or "to surpass oneself" in Spanish. This is what the Superar Suisse musical programme is all about, with which a non-profit association supports children and young people regardless of their background. They receive free lessons, which take place exclusively in a group - i.e. in a choir or orchestra - and are led by professional musicians.

Superar Suisse is now presenting itself in all its facets at tonhalleAIR: To kick off the afternoon, the Superar choirs will lead a sing-along with Zurich school classes and take the audience on a musical journey - singing along is encouraged! As part of the Zurich cultural programme "Her Game Culture", we will also cheer on our women's national team for EURO 2025 and dance together to the newly launched, official national team song of the Swiss Football Association.

Then it's the turn of the youngest talents from SuperStart. Finally, the Superar Orchestra under its artistic director Laida Alberdi will perform new and familiar pieces.
